ኢትዮጵያ እንደ ዓለም ጤና ጉባኤ ያሉ አለም አቀፍ መድረኮችን በመጠቀም የጤና ዲፕሎማሲን በማጠናከር ላይ ትገኛለች – የጤና ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር መቅደስ ዳባ
በጤና ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር መቅደስ ዳባ የተመራዉ የኢትዮጵያ ልዑክ ቡድን በ79 ነኛዉ የዓለም ጤና ጉባኤ ላይ ለመሳተፍ ስዊዘርላንድ ጄኔቫ ገብቷል።
ዶ/ር መቅደስ ለልዑካን ቡድኑ ኦሪየንቴሽን በሰጡት መድረክ እንደገለጹት ኢትዮጵያ በተለይም እንደ የዓለም ጤና ጉባኤ ያሉ አለም አቀፍ መድረኮችን በመጠቀም የጤና ዲፕሎማሲን በማጠናከር ላይ ትገኛለች ብለዋል።
ኢትዮጵያ የዓለም ጤና ድርጅት አባል ሀገር እንደመሆኗ በጉባኤዉ በሚወሰኑ ዉሳኔዎችና ቀጣይ ስራዎች የራሷን ድርሻ እንደምትወጣ ዶ/ር መቅደስ ተናግረዋል።
ወቅታዊ የኢቦላና ሀንታ ቫይረስ ሁኔታን ጨምሮ ሌሎች የዓለማችን ስጋት የሆኑ ወርሽኞችን መከላከልና መቆጣጠር በዋናነት በጉባኤዉ ቀርበዉ ዉይይት እንደሚደረግበት ይጠበቃል።
ከጉኤዉ ቀደም ብለዉ የዎክ ዘ ቶክ (Walk the Talk) ፕሮግራም የተካሄደ ሲሆን 79 ነኛው የዓለም ጤና ጉባኤ ከግንቦት 10-15 /2018 ዓ.ም በስዊዘርላድ ጄኔቫ እንደሚካሄድ ከወጣዉ ፕሮግራም ማወቅ ተችሏል።

The Ethiopian delegation led by Health Minister Dr. Mekdes Daba has arrived in Geneva, Switzerland to participate in the 79th World Health Assembly.
Dr. Mekdes, during the orientation forum she gave to the delegation, stated that Ethiopia is strengthening health diplomacy particularly by using international forums such as the World Health Assembly.
Dr. Mekdes said that as Ethiopia is a member state of the World Health Organization, it will play its own role in the decisions and future works to be decided at the assembly.
Preventing and controlling other world-threatening pandemics, including the current Ebola and Hanta virus situation, is mainly expected to be presented and discussed at the assembly.
Prior to the assembly, the Walk the Talk program was held, and it was possible to know from the released program that the 79th World Health Assembly will be held from May 18-23 / 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland.
